Beth Kaufman is a Partner and Managing Director in BCG’s Boston office and is a core member of the People & Organization practice and the Technology, Media and Telecom practice. She currently oversees BCG’s People Analytics capabilities, including the firm’s partnership with Burning Glass.
Kaufman joined the Boston Consulting Group in 1994 and has served BCG in a number of previous leadership roles including Global Topic Leader for the Digital People & Organization Topic, Global Manager for the People & Organization Practice and core member of BCG’s Digital Banking Initiative. She has also served as Worldwide Knowledge Leader for BCG, managing the firm’s global team of analysts and researchers as well as the knowledge technology platform.
Kaufman has authored several reports on digital disruption and implications for people and organizations including “The Power of People in Digital Banking Transformation,” “How Education Technology Can Help Foster Social and Emotional Skills” and “New Vision for Education: Unlocking the Potential of Technology” prepared in partnership with the World Economic Forum.
Prior to joining BCG, Kaufman worked as a Systems Analyst for Mobil Oil and as a Consultant for Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse. She earned an M.B.A., with distinction, from the Harvard Business School and holds a B.A. in geology from Oberlin College.
