Francesca Rossi is the A.I. ethics global leader at IBM Research. Her research interest focuses on artificial intelligence and specifically constraint reasoning, preferences, multi-agent systems, collective decision-making, value alignment and A.I. bias. She is a member of the European Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence, whose mandate is to advise the European Commission on A.I. ethical guidelines and policies, and she is also a board member of the Partnership on A.I., a multi-stakeholder initiative to make A.I. beneficial for people and society where IBM is a founding partner.
