The New York Times Climate Forward (the “Event”) is owned and organized by The New York Times Company (the “Organizer”). By purchasing tickets for the Event through the Climate Forward ticketing website, you, as a ticket purchaser and holder, agree to comply with these terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you register for the Event as a representative of a company or other organization you confirm that you have authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of the company or other organization. You shall also ensure participant(s) from the company or other organization attending the Event are made aware of and shall be bound by these Terms.

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. By attending the Event after the effective date of any modifications to these Terms, you agree to be bound by the modified terms. You are expected to check this page from time to time so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.

Safety and Security:

For the safety and security of visitors, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder. The Organizer will conduct 100 percent magnetometer and bag screening to ensure the safety of visitors to the Event. Ticket holders may not bring any weapons (firearms, knives, pepper spray), protest or political paraphernalia (paint, handcuffs, banners, noisemakers, glue) into the Event.

The Organizer shall also be entitled to refuse access to or remove anyone from the Event who is violating any law or any rule of the Event, is obstructive to programming, is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who is conducting themselves in a manner inappropriate to their continued attendance, or who is in breach of any other policies (e.g., policies relating to mobile phone or camera use) put in place by the Organizer, including, but not limited to, these Terms.

If the Organizer denies you entry or requires you to leave, you will not receive a refund.

Ticket and Registration Information:

A ticket is required for access to the Event. Ticket holders must be dressed appropriately in business casual attire.

To consume alcohol at the Event, participants must be at least 21 years old and show a valid government-issued ID. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

You are limited to a maximum of one ticket for the Event. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel any or all ticket orders that Organizer finds to exceed or circumvent this ticket limit. If you want to obtain more than one ticket, please contact us at timesevents@nytimes.com.

No admission to the Event is permitted without a ticket. Each ticket will only be good for ONE single person. Tickets are only valid for the date and session designated on your ticket. Please check your confirmation email to confirm date and session information. Each ticket is personal to the ticket holder and may not be used by another individual. You must show a government issued ID that matches the name on your registration for admission.

Tickets can only be obtained online via the Event ticketing website. The Organizer can only guarantee the validity of your ticket if obtained directly from the Event ticketing website. Any tickets obtained through third-party vendors cannot be verified or accommodated.

Tickets may not be resold, exchanged, transferred or returned. To do so, or to alter or deface any ticket, will render it void. Entry is based on the ticket barcode and the name of the ticket holder.

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to timesevents@nytimes.com. Cancellations received on or before August 1, 2025, will be subject to a 25 percent administration charge. No refund will be given for cancellations received on or after August 2, 2025.

In the unlikely event that the Organizer cancels the Event, your registration fee will be transferred to the rescheduled date or a refund will be issued for the amount paid. This policy will only apply to attendees who are registered for the Event at the time the Event is canceled. The Organizer shall not be liable for reimbursing expenses for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by you. The Organizer reserves the right to change the format, content, venue, speakers, hosts, moderators and/or timing of an Event and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such changes prior to the Event.

Unless otherwise agreed, any material filmed or recorded by you at the Event may only be used for the personal, noncommercial, nonprofit-making enjoyment of the registration holder. The Event may be recorded, telecast, reproduced, exhibited and publicly performed by the Organizer and Event sponsors, and you may be recorded as part of the audience. By attending the Event, you grant the Organizer and Event sponsors, and their respective affiliates and partners (the “Released Parties”), a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, unrestricted and assignable right and license to use your  name, image, likeness, voice, and spoken or written comments, without compensation in all media now known or later invented in connection with the Event.  You expressly waive all rights of publicity and privacy in connection with any such use; and you hereby release the Released Parties from any liability for loss, damage or compensation for the use of your name, image, likeness, voice, and spoken or written comments.
