Speaker Bio
Farah Nayeri writes on culture for The New York Times. Based in London, she was previously the arts correspondent of Bloomberg. She has also written for the arts pages of The Economist and The Wall Street Journal.

Originally from Iran, Ms. Nayeri began her journalism career as a reporter for Time in Paris. She later became a Paris correspondent of Bloomberg, the Rome bureau chief, and the European economics correspondent. In 2003, she was assigned to Baghdad to cover the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.

Ms. Nayeri has been invited to speak at Sciences Po in Paris and at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. She has moderated panel discussions for The New York Times and for the World Economic Forum. She is a classical pianist and a member of the U.K. Critics' Circle.
