Thomas Marchetti is the President of Energy Intelligence and has extensive energy experience in the financial services industry, including investments and research in equities, commodities and fixed income. Mr Marchetti was formerly the Global Energy Strategist and a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and Jefferies.

For over 25 years, Mr Marchetti has worked closely with research teams, institutional investors, and capitals markets at investment banks. He has provided analytical support for investments by assessing markets, valuations and geopolitical risk. He draws on his broad energy, commercial and management background to lead Energy Intelligence’s engagement and collaboration with institutional investors, corporate clients and policy interests.

His previous roles also include portfolio manager with Lehman Brothers Equity Management and Jefferies Asset Management managing equities and commodites. He worked as Chief Financial Officer of Raimund Commodities, Financial Analyst at J. Aron Commodities Division of Goldman Sachs and specialized in the finance industry while at KPMG Peat Marwick.

Mr Marchetti graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
