Steve Pastor joined BHP in 2001 and was appointed President Operations, Petroleum in February 2016.
With almost three decades of industry experience, Mr. Pastor is responsible for BHP’s global oil and gas operations and exploration program. During his career with the company, he has served in a number of leadership roles in deepwater and shale operations, as well as development division president of petroleum and asset president of conventional petroleum. Prior to joining BHP, Mr. Pastor worked with Chevron Corporation for 11 years.
Mr. Pastor holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Orleans, and an M.B.A. from Tulane University in New Orleans.
